Assumptions and methodology
This is a constant-rate scenario estimate, not a lender quote. Interest uses actual calendar days and a fixed 365-day denominator. Repayments are solved using the same dated interest factors as the schedule, so the baseline finishes by term end. Weekly and fortnightly schedules may end with a shorter period. Cashflows take effect after the day’s interest. Card expenses use a simplified fixed delay and assume full settlement without card interest; actual statement cycles and eligibility differ. Any offset funding deficit is shown separately. Break costs, refinancing costs, tax and variable rates are excluded.
